Default Dealership called me today

I didn't answer the phone and don't know exactly what was said..but my husband received a call from the dealership asking me if I would trade in my Crossfire as they are in desperate need for a Crossfire on their lot and would make me a great deal...and there is a real shortage of these cars and a lot of demand...so, what to make of this? My husband said I was not interested at this time...do you think this is a scam to get me on the lot? I have never received a call like that and I've owned a lot of cars...

I have seen so few Crossfires in the Seattle area...and now this convinces me that my car is truly unique and a keeper...However, everyone has a price...and I am curious what you all think about this call...is this unusual?
