I believe that to get the DRL function you have to replace the entire headlight switch with a Canada-spec one. This was discussed not too long ago so you might want to do a search.

The Crossfire, unlike many other cars out there, does not come pre-wired for all the options. If the option was not installed at the factory chances are the wiring will not be there for it.
