I would think a fairer comparison would be the SRT6 against the turbo, you'd win hands down.
The other thing to note is that there's more to driving a car, or even racing a car than just 0-60 or just the HP numbers.
The Crossfire has phenomenal skidpan numbers and because of its extremely high body rigidity, there's lots you can do in a Crossfire that you can't in many other cars.
And I always chuckle a little when people use the old argument that sports cars should not have automatic transmissions. Not that the Mercedes automatic in the SRT6 is anything to shake a stick at but automatic transmissions have come a long way.
Different technology as they might be, F1 cars are sequential automatics, the McLaren SLR is an automatic and so are plenty of super cars.
