So I installed my aftermarket headunit around 1/2 year ago - maybe even longer, and everything has been working fine. Yesterday I pull into a mcdonalds parking lot and my headunit + drive and play (ipod) power goes out.

I'm stumbled, it seems when I connect anything to just the direct power source it works fine. But when I connect it to the switched power source (when the car turns on) nothing works.

I also put back my stock headunit and the same thing, I started my car and it did not turn on , I had to push the power button for it to turn on.

I checked the fuse box and as far as I know all the fuses looked fine to me (unless there is more then one box?! There were only like ~ 7 fuses in there)...

This really sucks, i'm not sure what could've caused this or whatnot, but having to turn off my radio / drive+play every time I turn off my car, and vice versa isn't ideal for me.

Any suggestions, please!?
