maybe you need to installed an oil catch can after the engine is back together. that should hold any oil vapors that pass the PVC valve and keep your intake clean.

Damn that is a dirty manifold, I guess the PCV system is sucking in a lot of oil. If I was racing that motor I would run the PCV into the exhaust pipe instead of the manifold.
