Hello everyone. I just bought a Black 2004 Crossfire Coupe two weeks ago. I have been eyeing this car since it came out. I never thought I would own one though. I was in the market for a new car recently and test drove a ton of new cars. I wanted something sporty, and speed was a plus but not required. On my sons advice (he's 17) I drove an s2000, 350z, civic si, rx-8, and others. But my wife and I happened across the '04 Crossfire. We were driving past a row of auto dealers when she pointed out the Crossfire. I kept going but she insisted I go back. She reminded me that I have wanted this car for years. I went back, got the keys, did the test drive, and I was hooked. Funny thing, I went back two days later with my son and he was hooked too. I bought it the next day. This is a fabulous car. I spent four hours yesterday on this site reading the various threads. I haven't done anything to the car yet other than wash it. (Thank you all for the detailing threads. My first attempt at washing left water spots. Now it looks fantastic.) Now I have the car of my dreams and the speed I wanted as well. Using the AutoStick I can leave other cars behind. But the real thrill just comes from knowing that this car is mine. Anyway, I look forward to many years of driving a car that turns heads and gives me that once-in-a-lifetime feeling of ownership.
