I've only done brakes on friends cars and I’m just wondering why it’s a two man job if the other man isn’t pumping? Also is there anything else I should know?

Is there any reason you can't use a mityvac? I've always found it easier than the old fashioned "push the pedal" method. (inevitably someone always lets their foot off the pedal before the bleeder is sealed)!
