On further examination, it looks like it always selects the "P Package" for the base model and the "A Package" for the Limited. Both of these give you the 3.2L six. It still seems odd to me that the webpage would mention the 2.4L four at all. I wonder if this is a hint of Chrysler's plans for the '08.
