For all we know, the poor marketing and management of the Crossfire was due to Daimler. If it has any hopes of being an interesting carmaker, Chrysler needs a halo car and the Crossfire is it. (The 300C SRT-8 is cool but it has too many seats and too many doors).

As someone who loves Crossfires, I think the world is a better place with more of them. I'm not interested in resale value but I am interested in spare parts and ongoing corporate support. I hope Chrysler makes a 2008 Crossfire and a 2009 and a 2010. I'd like to see the Crossfire become Chrysler's Corvette - an aspirational car with a long and celebrated history. If Chrysler does this, I can promise them at least one steady customer for life.
