Agree with you Blackbelt, Z-2 is one of the easiest polishes I've ever used, no dust, no white streaks. I'm going back to it after I use up the bottle of AIO.
I think the difference between the Z-2 and the AIO is the AIO has the flash cure in it as well as a tiny bit of polishing compound. The stuff dries very fast. I'm usually in no hurry when I wax my car, usually put on in the evening (in the garage) and buffed off the following morning. I used Dawn the first time, only because that was the instructions and I try and follow instructions. I asked Sal Zaino about using it if I planned on using the Z-1 polish lock and he said no, don't use the dawn unless you want to start from scratch. He recommends a coat of Z-1 after every ten coats of Z-2.
Z-1 being the first step in the process, followed by a coat of Z-2 and then detail spray, Z-6.
