This Is Why Dyno Runs Are Nearly Impossible In The Manual Transmission Version Of The Car!!!

Then I Want You All To Pull The Abs Etc Fuses #17 & 18 Respectively And Take Your Car For A Drive And Try To Get The Engine Over 5,000 Rpm... If You Can Get The Engine Over 5,000 Rpm I'll Send You $100.

Now You Get My Point ?
I finally had the time to do your little test.

In neutral standing still my 2006 base coupe will not go over 4,300 rpm. This is when all fuses are in, when only 18 is pulled, and when 17 & 18 are pulled.

Now when fuse 18 is only pulled the orange abs and bas lights come on and the traction control can't be turned on or off. I can rev it up and drop the clutch and it will burn rubber as long as it can and chirp second hard. No signs of any TC. If i pull 17 & 18 there is no difference in launching.

Now as far as getting to redline in both instances I CAN. Pulls all the way hard with no problems.

Kind of weird that it wont let me rev past 4,300 EVER but i can run it to redline no matter what.

So what do you all think about that. Bone stock.
