Not the same problem. The sprint booster would most likely eliminate the lag in acceleration you are experiencing. Or your transmission fluid is low causing it to slip. The first time I took the car in they said the trans fluid was low and I was reminded of that today, but it was fine.
I will be looking for a sprint booster for her car tonight. 
Hmm i'll have to look into that today. Only reason why i asked is because just shifting in general it seems as the gears aren't changing quick enough for me to gain faster speeds. Just reading about this problem gets me paranoid lol.
