I couldn't have said it better myself. Sidez comments are pretty high on the "tilt-0-whirl" meter for me as well. I have two kids and if I heard of or caught either of them pulling a stunt like this they wouldn't have a working trigger finger to even pick up a toy or any other gun. Shooting at squirrels or blowing up tin cans in the back yard in the burbs is a far cry from some punk kids trying to pull off a car jack. WTF? I would have called the cops and hung around until these little bastards were carted away by the police. My next meeting with them would have been in court. Even if they would get the obligatory pass in the court system at least they would have received a taste of things to come along with my 2 cents. Not that it would help. I fear these 2 are already too far gone.

Even though these little a$$holes didn't harm the car (or you this time) what does that have to with anything? There actions speak volumes... (oh ya... that's right, they're the victims here). If they were 18-22 and smart enough to remove the red tip from the gun, you would probably be talking to your insurance company, the police and a shrink right now instead of writing your comments on this forum.

Garagebandking, buy a junker to take into the intercity and leave the Crossfire in the garage. You'll be better off not flaunting the rewards of your hard work and accomplishments in an area where people don't appreciate what it takes to earn the things they or you have. Otherwise, I hate to say it, but your just asking for a repeat incident. Maybe for real next time...
