I'd say just have it removed and put back on. Chances are the clips aren't set in place properly.

You need a very small torx bit to remove the metal retainer in the door jam. 3 of those screws are there. Once that is off you can remove a phillips screw located just beyond the belt in the slot. Then that entire plastic part by the small window just lifts up with some effort.

I'd personally have a dealership do it so you don't snap any parts off
