I would do it again as well...but they are VERY different cars. The 04' was a fun car, I would call it fun and “tossable”...the SRT is much more car and can be a handful with its power and in my mind is harder to simply drive around town, but much more fun from about 6/10ths on up. The SRT feels much heavier to me, yet (and obviously) much quicker (I realize that is a little oxymoronic). As much as I don’t think any sports car should have an automatic tranny, the SRT’s automatic (barring a DSG that I drove) is probably the best automatic I have experienced...so kind of a wash because it is incredibly nice to have an auto in stop & go and city traffic. Also, I like the suede seats much better than the 04's smooth leather. Yes, I would do it again and the SRT has to be one of THE top total values on the sports car market right now.
