Completely gutted track cars (with zero background info on them) are always a great barometer for stock street cars.
You should know better than to try and make that comparison. You know damn well a Elise will eat a Crossfire alive around a track. I could dig up a picture of a Fox body Mustang passing a Ferrari 360 but it says absolutely nothing about the cars in general.
