You should know better than to try and make that comparison. You know damn well a Elise will eat a Crossfire alive around a track. I could dig up a picture of a Fox body Mustang passing a Ferrari 360 but it says absolutely nothing about the cars in general.
Not true... This seems to be a propagated myth surrounding the Lotus... It's got a Toyota Celica engine, weighs just under 2,000 lbs and has a very low CG... But before I gutted the car and did my mods, I ran against many during track days... And we were basically neck & neck except for tight turns...
Now, I eat them for lunch... Exiges too !!!
