Default Re: Rotex pads stop squeaking?

I put mine on about a month and a half ago. Was dumb of me to not lube the necessary parts the first time around. Once those rotors heated up at higher speed driving, the squeaking was shrill. Like previously stated I went to Advanced Auto Parts and bought the .99 cent packets as well as another brake lubricant that is to be directly sprayed onto back of pads. After another afternoon spent lubing the brakes the squeaking was almost all gone. After residual wear in squeaking I haven't had much problem. The only time I get any squeaking is (1) when i pressure spray my rims, which I don't often do. A regular hose or spray nozzle shouldn't be a problem. or (2) every once in a while I will get a very brief squeak at very low speeds say 5 mph to 0. And like I said that is infrequent. Make sure you lube the appropriate areas and you should be fine. I did not have my rotors resurfaced. Best of luck!
