Re: Sometimes Sluggish acceleration
Dropped off my SRT6 @ the dealer this afternoon. Had the service manger go with me for a ride and presto, I had no acceleration. He was nonchalant and I think dumbfounded about it and said he would have call Chrysler technical to find out more about this problem. This after I gave him prinouts describing the problem as being the IC pump. He said the one P code that printed out was for a water pump.
Anyways, I told him to order two of whatever he thinks will fix the problem cause my daughters Xfire has the same problem. It just is not happening as frequently as mine has been. Plus my top is not working on command. That is probably the switch, even though it lights up. Or it might be the connection in the truck. Time will tell.
I asked my service manger if he thought I could have it back by Friday. The other service rep started laughing. I really came close to showing him that I could still do a nice roundhouse to his head while he was sitting on his stool. But, I just smiled and told my rep to do his best.
