I would either chrome all the silver painted surfaces or leave it alone. I chromed all my silver painted exterior parts plus the roll bars. I had to paint the door handles the exterior color due to the fact know one has came up with a chroming solution (plastic). I have a graphite gray and think it looks sharp. I went to the Woodward cruise so if you would like other opinions maybe they could give some input on what they think.
