Default Now I'm hooked...Visa card in-hand

Darn it Andrew, that is just too cool...

Been cruising the RC Heli sites all week now and I'll probably order something in the next couple of days. I've already got one of those super tiny two channel jobs on order just to play with. Thought I'd start with something simple/cheap to fly until I either crash it or the cat swats it out of the air. The E Flite choppers seem to be pretty popular with plenty of parts support so I may end up with one like you're flying.

I've also been looking at this one...

The metal drive parts and airframe seem to be a good idea. I expect to break a lot of blades but I want a chopper that will withstand the occasional "hard landing" (crash).

What kind of R/C controller are you using? I see some of the newer ones are 2.4 G.Hz now. Is that the best way to go?
