I'm a new Crossfire owner (2004 Ltd Coupe w/ 22,000 miles). I have experienced several times when my ABS/ESP warning light would come on and the car would not allow me to shift out of park after startup. The only way I could move the car was to insert a tool into the little door/hatch on the gear selector plate and manually release the transmission from Park. I have found that on start-up, if the ABS/ESP warning light does not stay on after starting then the transmission shifts normally.

Has anyone else had this problem of locking up of the transmission selector?
