Definitely worth it, just been out for another drive in my lunch break with a colleague that I took out 2 weeks ago before the mod. Had similar fuel level and air temp too as before, so a fair comparison and did the same route. He too noticed that the gear changes were stronger and 1st gear pull away was sharper and stronger.

If the difference is felt by a passenger, then acceleration must be quicker and 0-60 times improved with the better delivery of the same Power to the wheels.
