I had the left front apart last Friday when I discovered that none of the spring compressors at the hobby shop would fit into the wheel well or around the spring. (They had four) one was a big monster that compressed from the sides, the others worked from the center.

I purchased these from Harbor Freight tools yesterday so I plan on doing the job this weekend. (I can do it at home now).

I wanted to go to the Anaheim GTG last Sat. So I figured I just would wait.

I will post pictures and calculate the drop that the 5mm spring pads provide once I know the thickness of the stock pads.

I would like to drop 1" in the front and 2" in the back.

Without knowing the stock pad thickness I estimate 1/4 to 1/2 coil trim for the fronts and 1/2 for the back. I don't think I will cut more then 1/2 from any springs. But the rears are easy to remove and sit so high, if I feel bold I might trim more. I'll have to wait and see.
