Default Cold Air Intake... Finished

This is the intake I fabbed up. I dropped 3 tenths and gained .6 mph in the quarter mile.

It is constructed of 3" aluminum tubing, into 3" flex tube which is routed behind the grill, and then into an 8X5" K&N cone filter.

I have the mesh grilles on my car which allow more airflow to the filter.

Besides a noticeable HP gain, this mod provides much better throttle response. I also noticed a more consistent power delivery between shifts.

With the stock airbox I would get a slight hesitation between shifts, but now the 1-2 shift is extremely smooth.

For those that care, it does make a sucking sound, but its not too loud. I can't hear it over my exhaust unless the hood is open.

I have three kits available. They will be sold for $220 shipped anywhere in the 48 states.

Fire away with the questions!
