not looking for sympathy or whatever but i think that too many kids today would rather have someone else do stuff for them instead of taking on the challenge themselves.

Not going to call you an A-Hole, but I think I actually did exactly what you said I should do. When I needed to take the tires off, I figured out how and did it. Prior to yesterday, I had never needed to take the tires off. I've been fairly lucky and never had to do any major work on a car. I've also never had a flat tire. Now that I know how, I'm sure I'll probably get a flat like tomorrow or something. Sorry about your Dad.
