I can try to describe it. Even with the car off I have both wheels strait or any way it's like it has play in the wheel and all I have to do move it an inch and you can hear what almost is like a clunk or click and you can feel it. I can even hear it coming from somewhere in the steering gear box. it only does it the first inch or so of turning the wheel then it catches and the wheel turns normal without any sound.
This just happened to me a couple hours ago!
Same exact thing, but not only can I feel the 'click' in the wheel, I can also feel it in the accelerator pedal sometimes. Just a vibration, doesn't effect the throttle.
Also, mine only clicks about a 1/5 rotation of the steering wheel to the left and a 1/16 turn to the right.
Any ideas on this??? I thought it might have something to do with the colder weather starting in.
