I think your production numbers for the Fiero are way low. According to Wikipedia, they made over 136,000 in 1984 alone. Total production was about 350,000 cars.
I think the Crossfire will be MUCH rarer as we go along. If that helps resale value that is just a bonus as far as I am concered. It is fun to own a car that gets strangers talking to me and asking about it. Hopefully the Mercedes mechanicals will help us keep them running for many years.
