I think the Crossfire will be MUCH rarer as we go along. If that helps resale value that is just a bonus as far as I am concered. It is fun to own a car that gets strangers talking to me and asking about it. Hopefully the Mercedes mechanicals will help us keep them running for many years.
Bob, you're absolutely correct, I researched that number for another thread and came up with 76,371 cars total (which seemed awfully low at the time). As it turns out, that was just one years production for I believe 1985.
I'm really glad you pointed out my mistake, because now I'm satisfied the Crossfire will NEVER be a commom sight on the highway. Which when you think about it, is kind of sad since they look so darn good.
