And in simple terms - if the coolant goes through the system too fast it doesn't have time to cool down, so if the pump flows too much we'd be running nothing but hot coolant.
Very true for us "street folks"

But HDDP will have a Dry Ice cooling tank and a larger HE. The greater the volume the better. (so it seems)

I am not a thermal dynamics engineer so I plan to install a IAT guage.

If my IAT's rise when I install a ODPS then I will upgrade to the Johnson Pump and seperate the engine/HE coolant tank.
