It wasn't bad at all. No injuries to me or the other driver, just the car. Typical blind spot collision. The lady (in her mid-80s) didn't know I was there and was trying to get into the turn lane to make a left. Which by the way has an extended solid yellow/slashed line that she thought was the turn lane, not the lane that had the "arrow left" ONLY written on the lane.

We were the only two cars on the road in that area at the time. I would have avoided the collision had she not thought the diagonal solid yellow lane was the turn lane.
Anyway she ripped my bumper a third of the way off and dented my fender. Obviously it's not my fault but it's my only mode of transportation and who knows how long it's going to take to fix.
I'm going to the dealer to get it all done correctly. I don't have a camera for pictures ATM, but I'll have some up tomorrow.
It really sucks but it could have been worse. This is another reason why older folk 70+ should take written and driving exams so things like this do not happen.
