Ok, just went to the dealership. They have 10 of the 31-09 filters, but none of the 31-09 filters. He said only one dealership in the area has ONE of them. He could get it for me next day. I looked at the 26-09 filter, the white one with the two plastic bands around it. Other than the cheesy bands, the filter looks fleece to me and high quality. It was a Mercedes box with foil seal and all. That filter was 15 bucks vs. 30 for the other one. Any reason why I shouldn't go with that filter?
