First of all some of you have probably read I had the sluggish acceleration issue yet my dealer wanted to replace every sensor possible before doing the right thing (right now I am on the brake module and yaw sensor). Anyways they always try talking me into how each sensor is the root of the problem because it throws the car into "Limp" mode. So here are where my questions stem from. What are all the things "Limp" mode does? I know when referring to the transmission "Limp home mode" restricts the car to 2nd and reverse gears. I was more wondering about everything that changes on the car when it enters "Limp" mode referring to engine parts? Also and this may be the dumbest question ever put on the forum, but if the srt-6 is a "5 speed automatic" why can I only cycle through 4 gears in "stickmatic"? Oh and is it really possible for the car to be in "Limp" mode one second and not in another?
