All due respect guys, I've done a bit of homework pm this subject... Yes, a properly designed set of headers will give us about 2.5% HP increase over the OEM without other modfifications... And you will need to spend somewhere in the range of $1,500 to $3,000 to have them custom built...

If somebody says they will build you headers for less, (RUN AWAY)
If I had to spend up to $3000 for a set of headers, I would instead take the welding class at the community college and make them myself and a jig so that I could make a few more sets to sell to you guys (until mine were paid for). I have had custom headers made for me before and I didn't pay anywhere near that much. I had a set made for my GT 40 replica that where a crossed over 360 degree system (bundle of snakes) that also included a custom made muffler and exits for $950.
