What i did when i installed my magnaflow was to bend the hanger to get the rubber mount on then i put a washer on each hanger and welded them on. afterwards i bent the hangers as far back as i could and trust me i will never get that exhaust off again.

And it is just about perfectly level, but i had the same problem with the pass. side falling off every other day. it gets old.

Just not any more.
