Apples and Oranges...The Motorsports Hero is specifically for this use. It is light weight and very compact and comes with all the mounting hardware.
You would have to buy or rig up something to hold your video camera. It would also be unlikely you could tape it to your helmet, side of your car or bike, or mount it on the grille.
The Motorsports Hero is specifically designed to do all these things at a very low cost.
