GTG=Get ToGether

I know it's still a ways off, but I've already signed up for the season opening date at the speedway for our next Get Together. I'll have more details for dinner in the afternoon and all the other good stuff as we get a little closer to March. We will meet in the early afternoon to meet and visit with everyone, then have dinner before heading to the track for the first race of the '08 season.
This is a fantastic track at New Smyrna and we will be the feature for the evening. We will be able to park our Crossfires inside the fenced in attendance area so that all the paying race fans can view our cars. We will be included in the opening ceramony as well as featured during their half time. The last time we went we more or less got rained out from most of our activities, but that shouldn't be a problem in March as this won't be during the rainy season.
They WILL let us take some spirited laps around the track, a half mile banked oval, but only as spirited as you want. For anyone new that hasn't attended before, we are not racing our cars on a track, just taking a few safe, fun laps, that's all. If you ask anyone who has attended before, they will all tell you that they are indeed a blast!!
And as always, spouses or better halfs are always welcomed. Mark your calendar now so that you won't miss this great time.
