I think painting a toy model is the way to start. My concern is weather a Crossfire coupe is to small a car to support two colors.
I have seen this combo on trucks and larger cars and it looks great.
very custom, especially Silver and Black.
I know i can count on you guys for some interesting opinions.
By the way, isn't this forum out of sight!

TLo, If I had a Silver car like yours, I would most definitely do a "Shadow Mask" hood paint treatment on it. That's what it was called on the 1970 AMX. Only I would do it in dark blue metallic.
I have a friend who has a silver AMX painted that way and it looks fantastic.
I would take the blue to the very edge of the fender, run it down under the grill to the "cut line" on the bumper, and under the side windows to the very end of the rear 1/4 window. Then as a finishing touch, separate the blue from the silver using a 1/8 inch red pinstripe.
If that's to wild for ya, then a 1/8 inch black pin stripe would tone it down.

It would also look good if you did it in dark gray with a red pinstripe.
