why can't you just throw in the ML320 pistons and sleeves in there? I think it makes another 40 hp with just that alone. cams are good for about 18-20 hp. head porting could yield another 8-10 hp/cylinder there's 40-60 hp right there, bump up the CR to 12 or 13:1 on race gas, and an ECU flash for 18 hp. you could easily make up some headers for another 18 hp, and your full race exhaust is good for 10 hp, slower pullies might produce 4 hp. Your already well into 320-350+ hp area with these mods alone.
that's already 140 hp on top of the 215 hp, and that's being conservative I didn't even take into account higher CR. you could have a 350hp NA motor easily
With all due respect, i think that would be an unwise investment. One would spend a lot of time, money and energy and in the end it would be less reliable than a FI motor that pumps out the same power without breaking a sweat.
