Now when you say 2.5" ID i assume you are refering to the collector right?
If you're going to pursue this seriously and want the max performance out of this engine without a total re-manufacture... Perform all of your mechanical mods before your electronic ones (ECU tuning). I'm sure you understand what I'm saying... Tear the engine down and have it ported & polished by Extrude Hone, have them bore the exhaust ports + 6mm, and intake ports + 3mm. And have them polish the inside of the intake plenums. Disassemble the Supercharger and polish the inside casing to a mirror finish... install the Schrick Cams. Send your injectors to RC Engineering to have them flow tested and balanced at the nominal spec I listed with Stan Weiss http://users.erols.com/srweiss/tableifc.htm. polish your intake Y pipe... Port your TB by + 1.5mm and install a new butterfly valve.

Remove your OEM IC and acid wash the fins to get the MFG crap out of it... Re-plumb your IC plumbing with a cooling system that is seperate from the engine cooling using 3/4" tube. Wrap the bottom of your IC in heat insulation before re-install... purchase "finn tube" to replace all your IC / HE plumbing tubes.... and wrap all other IC / HE plumbing tubes / connections with insulation. Replace the HE with a Bell Heat Exchanger...

Alright... I'm tired of typing I'll finish this later....
