On the C32 with stock heads, a 185mm pulley will cause the IAT's to skyrocket in the upper RPM band. Upgraded cooling is a must and even then there is no guarantee. 192mm is pushing the limits of the SC. Efficiency will become an issue at high RPM / high load situations.
I bet your car is a monster up until 4k rpm.
Actually, I can't even pass 3k without it detonating. Without headers and just the 192mm pulley, it was a monster through all RPM's. And the IAT's stayed below 150F, which was only ~60F over ambient. I'm using a larger heat exchanger plus methanol injection tapped directly into the intercooler. It wasn't until the long tube headers that I started having problems. I will be using a 4-bar map sensor (with barometric correction) on aftermarket ECU and I'm in the process of upgrading my injectors and then all I'll need to do is tune.
