I'm using a larger heat exchanger plus methanol injection tapped directly into the intercooler. It wasn't until the long tube headers that I started having problems. The 4k rpm limit is a problem we faced on our shop C32. The pulley was 185mm, so that makes sense with yours. I bet the dyno graph looks like crap too.

If you are going with a standalone system, then you should be good. Keep in mind that the stock ECU will retard timing starting at 95° F as follows:

The ignition timing point is retarded by the ME-SFI control unit in line with the intake air temperature (charge air temperature in the case of supercharged engines) and "load" (engine speed and air mass).

The ignition timing point is retarded only if the engine is operating at a high load and begins from an intake air temperature of approx. +35 °C and reaches its maximum at approx. +65 °C.

Example for full load:
95 °F --> (retarded 3.5°crank angle)
113 °F --> (retarded 6.3°crank angle)
149 °F --> (retarded 9.5°crank angle)

The maximum timing retarded is 9.5°crank angle. So, at 150°F, the system is already pulling the maximum amount of timing.

I'm running a 185mm pulley on my car and my IAT's have yet to climb above 100° F, even during multiple (25+) 1/4 passes in the same day. The car pulls like freight train and is currently the second fastest C32 in the world. If I could get traction, I would easily break the record.

I have massive cooling mods that have helped a ton. LET HE, Johnson Pump, Canton IC Tank, Custom lines, etc.

If you can keep the charge cool, you would elminate half of your issues. The only other issue that I see would be the extra fuel needed for 22+psi.
