Once we have the jig complete, volume production shouldn't be an issue. The price that is on the website now is good for the first 5 units we sell. I know that after the new year, the cost will go up slightly for all models, including C32, SLK32, SRT, E55, etc.
We have a fabricator on staff that is designing these per our specs. We then send the units out for High-Temp coating, which is costly. We are researching other companies now, but if we have to stick with our current provider, then the cost will need to rise slightly. They changed the prices on us. Currently we are locked in for a lower price due to a previous arrangement, but we are nearing the end of that agreement. We don't want any shop touching out headers, so a reputable company is what we are seeking.
Again, we are trying to be up front with you guys. If we can get 5 people to commit now, then the headers would be included in the discounted price on the website.
Keep in mind that Erick and I are doing everything we can to keep the price low, but certain things are out of our hands.
