Who is a native Texan? Someone born in Texas.

Who is a native Dane? Someone born in Denmark.

Who is a native American?

I was born in America. That makes me a native. Just because my ancestors have been here a few thousand years less than others ancestors does not lessen nor negate my native status. My ancestors also happen to have come from Europe. Is this any different from others ancestors that came from the Asian landmass thousands of years ago?
