Who is a native American?
I was born in America. That makes me a native. Just because my ancestors have been here a few thousand years less than others ancestors does not lessen nor negate my native status. My ancestors also happen to have come from Europe. Is this any different from others ancestors that came from the Asian landmass thousands of years ago?

Thus Canada is in America, has is Mexico and Panama and Chile and Brazil etc.. Kinda like Germany, France and Belgium all being part of Europe - Yes - you can be a native European but that does not disclose what country you were born.
So technically a Native American can also be born in Mexico - Right?
When you re-enter this country from a foreign trip and the Immigration official asks you your country of origin - best not to say "America" - Better to reply with "United States"
Mexicans, Canadiens, Costa Ricans, etc are inhabitants of NORTH America. Just like Peruvians and Colombians are from South America. So If I want to be really technical then I would call myself a native North American. But since the term "America" is universally associated with the United States, and since I'm a native United Statesian, or whatever, then I call myself a native American.
All of this is partly in jest and yet partly serious. I find political correctness to be amusing and yet dangerous in that it leads to division. Branding the population into separate groups, with their own language and culture, undermines the very principles and goals that unite the population. Personally I don't care where your family originated from - if you were born in America then you are a native of America. Hopefully you will also be a good citizen too. I'll also have to admit that many immigrants are better citizens and more deserving to be called American than many of the natives themselves.
The "European descent" tag is a little vague but I use it as a jab at the current "geographical area hyphenated American" labeling that is so prevalent today. After all, it's just as accurate, or inaccurate, as "Asian" or "Afircan" American.

Too funny.......I had no idea this would happen!

I'm convinced that if you put a few crossfire owners in the same room they could argue over what color snow is!

My answer is: Not when it's on the side of the road mixed with all the dirt.
Apkano is right though...Crossfire owners are just people and with 400 people nobody will agree on anything the same but it sure sparks off some fun reading.
