It just sounds like she over extended here credit, sorry but i cant see helping someone for that reason, if it was for other reasons like health or lossing a job or other good reasons i would help.
My exact sentiments. I too have seen VERY VERY hard times and had to find a way to recover from them MYSELF.
I don't think that ACrispy1 is being negative, he is just stating the obvious.
If you feel the need to help her recover from her own bad judgement, go for it, but do not admonish those who believe that one should be responsible for themselves.
