Default Re: Help "AimeeJ " fund

I got out the message and many pitched in to help out a fellow member. Thank you for being a part of my efforts to help AimeeJ.
This post will continue on and maybe too will some more contributions but then it will simply fade away but remember you have all made a difference in somebody's life and that my friends will never be forgotten.

Thanks,
Gary

This happened by chance when I was reading Valkryders reply to AimeeJ which was as follows:

"So Aimee ,
Just wondering if you have been able to resolve some of your financial issues and found a way to keep your Crossfire ??
I was just searching through some threads here and thought of you. I hope you will still be able to enjoy this Christmas season.

Somebody 13 miles from my house just won the mega millions lottery jackpot of 163 million bucks. If it were me I would pay off all your bills. I know I don't even know you but I feel that helping out a stranger would be awesome.

Merry Christmas , Gary"

To this I responded:

AimeeJ, VALKRYDERGUY may just have hit on something to help you out. Why not put a post in with a bank account number asking members to help you keep the crossfire you love. You never know there might just be some members who will contribute and even if its only enough to help make a couple of payments its better than nothing. This forum has quite a few members and if some sent you $5 here and $20 there it would add up quick. I would use a separate account for this and keep updating the post with how much you have received. It's worth a shot unless you consider asking for help beneath you.

As a result, this post was born. I don't know any of these people so I can guarantee that is is not a scam. The only thing that any of us have in common is that we care enough to try to make a difference in someones life and that we love our crossfires!!!!

If you want to contribute to AmieeJ please do so and you can be confident this was not some scam. I hope this helps to quell some concerns as to the validity of this post and the cause associated with it.
Merry Christmas to all on this great forum
Mike
