Even with the lights on I had no power to the detector. That had crossed my mind though.
I might have to give that cigarette lighter hook up a try. The radio is probably always hot cause it works with the key off. I am not sure how to get behind the lighter though and I still need to ground the - somewhere.
I am trying to keep the wires all hidden from the top of the windshield to the connections.
