Bottom line... A RADAR detector is only good if the cop is shooting RADAR at the car before you and you pick up the signal before he locks you. Once your detector beeps you still have to react and hit the hooks. By that time you may be owned. You have to rely on a combination of eyesight, radar detectors, common sense, and luck. Just like how people brag here about top speeds and races they have won... The police brag and trade war stories over the fastest ticket or the biggest A-hole they wrote a ticket to. It's a game and sometimes you win and sometimes you lose.... At least thats the way I see it
