Thumbs up Engine Temp

Everyone,

I have read in the past where people are trying to reduce their operating temps on the SRT's and other than a thermostat swap, they were not sucessful. I too tried one bottle of water wetter. No difference. I then put in a second bottle. No difference. I thought what the heck and a few weeks later put in a 3rd bottle. My thought was since the capacity is larger than average with the intercooler etc., maybe the ratio was just too small to make a difference. Today I drove it with the 3rd bottle and the temp guage remained a full needles width below half way and before it was at the half way mark. The other interesting thing was I can now see the results of the thermostat opening and closing meaning that the guage will gradually move back and forth as the thermostat compansates another needles width below the new mark. Just thought I would pass this along to those that discussed trying to lower the temps in the past.
